- Measure ¼ cup butter, allow to come to room temperature
- Apply a small amount of butter to loaf tray
- Preheat oven 175ºC / 350°F
- Whisk in a small bowl
- 1 ½ cups *spooned* flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Mash and whisk in a separate small bowl
- 3 bananas
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Whisk in a separate small bowl
- Mix in a large bowl
- ¼ cup softened butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Add and whisk in banana mixture and eggs
- Add and gently whisk in flour mixture
- Pour into loaf tray, optionally sprinkle chocolate chips into batter
- Set 1 hour timer
- Place in oven
