- Whisk in a medium bowl
- 2 ¼ cups (281g) *spooned* flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Mix in a large bowl
- ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- ¾ cup (150g) sugar
- Add to large bowl
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Mix in dry ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- ¼ thick cookies.
- Bake 11 mins or until the edges of the cookies are very lightly browned. Rotate pan around 6 mins in.
